This 4-week online intensive helps you slow the spiral and respond differently. Do the work on your own time, with expert guidance along the way.
Your thoughts won’t stop. Every decision feels high-stakes, and you’re stuck trying to get it “right”, even though a part of you knows it doesn’t really make sense.
The fear of what might happen if you miss something, make the wrong choice, or don’t check just one more time is exhausting.
You’ve might have spent hours scrolling online, retracing conversations, or asking for reassurance, just trying to feel certain enough to move on. But even when you find a little relief, it doesn’t last.
You’ve tried talk therapy, and maybe even exposure work, but it hasn’t worked in the way you hoped. You’re still feeling anxious and wondering if there's another way.
Waking up without dread already humming in the background. Moving through your day without constantly scanning for something you missed or might have done wrong.
Letting a thought pass without having to analyze it or figure it out. And not because you’re ignoring it but because you’ve learned how to tell when it’s OCD talking.
Making decisions and moving on without needing to check, confess, or ask for reassurance. Touching a surface, sending a message, or leaving a room without that lingering sense that something is off or not quite right.
Being with people (and actually with them in the moment) because your mind isn’t somewhere else, caught in the loop of trying to feel sure.

Inference-Based CBT (ICBT) is a modern approach with a growing evidence base evidence-for treating OCD that focuses on changing the way you think, not confronting your fears through exposure therapy.
Instead of resisting compulsions and tolerating uncertainty, ICBT helps you understand why you doubt and mistrust your own reality in the first place. You’ll learn to break free from the mental loops keeping you stuck, so you can let go of compulsions naturally.
About the Program Creator
I'm Dr. Sarah Kertz, a McLean Hospital/Harvard-trained clinical psychologist, OCD specialist, and founder of Anxiety Specialists of St. Louis.
I’ve worked with people with OCD for over a decade, and one thing I’ve seen is that sometimes traditional therapy can be frustrating. Long wait lists, trouble finding a specialist, or weekly sessions spent mostly catching up on the past week.
Sometimes after a great session you walk away with a few takeaways, but not much structure for what to actually do between sessions.
I created this program because I wanted to give people a clear plan, more structure, and on demand tools they could access anytime, not just once a week. I wanted something you can work through on your own schedule, whether that’s in short bursts between work and family responsibilities, or during a more focused period when you're ready to really dig in.
I’ve taught the approach used in this program to dozens of clients in 1:1 therapy and group settings, and I’m excited to bring it to you in this innovative format. I promise to walk with you every step of the way!

After six months, your access to the course materials, community, and group meetings will end. This structure helps encourage full engagement with the program while ensuring that you get the most out of your time in the group. However, even without continued access, you’ll leave with a strong understanding of ICBT principles and practical tools to maintain your progress moving forward.
This is an accelerated program. We're working on learning new strategies quickly while keeping things manageable. Between watching the video lessons, completing exercises, and working on homework, you should plan to spend 2 to 3 hours per week on the material
Yes. You’ll have two 30-minute 1:1 sessions with Dr. Sarah Kertz—one in Week 2 and one in Week 4—so you can get personalized guidance and feedback as you move through the material. You’ll also receive weekly emails to help you stay on track, along with optional reflection prompts and check-ins. While this isn’t a live group format, the support is built in so you’re not left to figure it out alone.
This program is not a cure, and no responsible OCD treatment should promise one. OCD is considered a chronic condition for many people, but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel better. What recovery looks like is learning how to relate to OCD differently, so that it no longer drives your decisions or runs your life. This 4-week intensive is designed to:
-Help you understand the mechanics of OCD on a deep level
-Give you practical tools based on Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)
-Help you build momentum toward long-term change
You’ll likely finish the program with more insight, more confidence, and new ways to respond to OCD. But like any meaningful change, recovery is a process, not a quick fix. We’ll give you a head start but what you do with those tools afterward is what makes the biggest difference.
While we can’t guarantee specific results, given that every person’s journey with OCD is different, we are confident that this program provides you with the tools, support, and structure needed to make meaningful progress. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to change your relationship with obsessional doubts and reduce the distress they cause. That said, your success will depend on your engagement with the program. We’re here to support you along the way, but the best results come when you show up consistently, participate in the group, and put the strategies into practice.
The program lasts 4 weeks.
You’ll have two private 1:1 sessions during the program, which are a great time to ask questions, get clarification on ICBT concepts, and talk through how to apply the tools to your specific situation. You’ll also receive weekly emails with reminders and guidance—and you can always reply to those if something comes up in between. If you run into technical issues (like trouble accessing materials), our team is available via email and happy to help.
That’s okay! You don’t need to be tech-savvy to succeed in this program. The platform is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate, even if it’s your first time using an online course. When you join, you’ll receive a welcome guide that walks you through everything step-by-step, from logging in to finding course materials and joining live sessions. If you ever get stuck, our support team is just an email away to help with any technical questions. You’ll also have access to the message board, where you can ask questions or get help from both Dr. Kertz and other group members. We’re here to help.
